Ms. Sandy Pridemore

309 Rutherford St.

The landscaping, which was added to this home in 2006-2007, features the ”Pride of Summerville” azaleas and is enclosed in true cottage style form using a combination of white picket and wrought iron fencing. The home was originally built between 1910 and 1920 with a floor plan consisting of four front rooms. It maintains the original fireplaces, one for each of the original four rooms, and its original wood floors. New upgrades made in 2006 include deep crown moldings, floating windows moldings, a refurbished kitchen with granite countertops, and remodeled bathrooms. The interior furnishing designs were created by Barbra Steadman whose works have appeared in publications of Charleston Home and Design and whose rooms have been displayed in the Charleston Symphony Designer House. The owner enjoys the elegant but comfortable interior and easy cottage-style living.
