Dorchester Children's Center School Prevention Program
DCC's School Program was adopted to serve as a strong, accessible resource and support for school and daycare personnel with the byproduct of increased protection, care, and safety for the children in our community. We are here to help you Monday through Friday, during and after regular school hours to provide training and consultation. We serve: Teachers, Guidance Counselors, School Psychologist, Student Concern Specialist, School Resource Officers, School Nurses and Daycare Service Providers.
In our training program, we cover the following:
- Recognizing signs of abuse and neglect
- Adhering to mandated reporting laws
- Responding to child disclosure
